1. Its the right thing to do.
Just about every culture in the world knows that helping the needy is the right thing to do. It is also an American tradition.
Look at the need in NY after 9/11, in New Orleans after Katrina, in Japan after the tsunami and look at the outpouring of love.
Bible says, "He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for what he has done. Proverbs 19:17.
2. You feel good about helping.
To help the hungry really brightens our day and warms the heart.
It empowers you when you do something meaningful and lasting to help the homeless.
3. You make a permanent difference.
We do more than feed and shelter people.
We offer an atmosphere of genuine love.
That with the training in job skills, parenting, and personal skills - you can see how your gifts to the needy gets to the root problems of their poverty.
ESL, auto and diesel mechanics, culture awareness, computer, sign language, and cooking.
4. You improve your community.
A better life for one needy person or family makes a better life for someone.
The suffering of one hurts us all.
We see homeless children growing up in the crime scene, couple that with the feeling of worthlessness that often comes from being homeless.
We see many children at a young age harden their tender hearts. And we know that in a few years they will be in jail if not dead.
We are here to try and change things for them.
5. Your money works hard.
Our high level of efficiency is among the best today. When we give, believe me, it goes to help that man, woman or child.
