Becoming like Lions

Two explorers were on a jungle safari when suddenly a ferocious lion jumped in front of them. “Keep calm” the first explorer whispered. “Remember what we read in that book on wild animals? If you stand perfectly still and look the lion in the eye, he will turn and run.”

“Sure,” replied and his companion. “You’ve read the book, and I’ve read the book. But has the lion read the book?”

Isaías 31:4
Porque así me dice el Señor: Como león que gruñe sobre la presa cuando contra él se reúne toda una cuadrilla de pastores; como cachorro de león que no se asusta por sus gritos ni se inquieta por su tumulto, así también el Señor *Todopoderoso descenderá para combatir sobre el monte *Sión, sobre su cumbre.

This is what the LORD says to me: "As a lion growls, a great lion over his prey— and though a whole band of shepherds is called together against him, he is not frightened by their shouts or disturbed by their clamor— so the LORD Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights.
